RAD episode: Dying light

RAD-Dyinglight

Ever dropkicked a zombie off a skyscraper while wielding a baseball bat that is electrified?
Wanna do it?

In this edition of RAD, Mike “The Birdman” Dodd gets stuck in the city of Harran that happens to be infested with the undead. Dying light comes the developer of “Dead island” and tries it’s hand at refining the formula of surviving the zombie apocalypse with style AND substance. Improvised weapons, parkour and some B movie story schlock are abound in this action adventure zombie fest BUT is there something great hidden here?
Join Birdman and protagonist Kyle Crane as they venture into this city of dead and try to liberate it’s citizens and get to the bottom of what happened…and likely bash a few heads in along the way.

RAD episode: Assassins Creed:Rogue

RAD-Rogue

Uphold the principles of our Order, and all for that for which we stand. Never share our secrets nor divulge the true nature of our work. Do so until death — whatever the cost. This is my new creed. I am Shay Patrick Cormac. Templar of the Colonial… of the American Rite. I am an older man now, and perhaps wiser. A war and a revolution have ended, and another is about to begin. May the Father of Understanding guide us all

Well, we once again find ourselves donning our assassins hidden blades lurking amongst the shadows.

In this last RAD of 2014, we return to the world of templars and assassins but this time we have to ask ourselves, are we on the right side of the war?
Shay Patric Cormac is an assassin who turns templar in Assassins Creed:Rogue and it takes a look at man who has to not just question his loyalties but perhaps do so to save the world. Mike “The Birdman” Dodd examines this entry in this series and see where it stacks up against the previous games and where it fits into history of the world.
Can betrayal be done for the best of intents?
Who makes an appearance from previous games and how have they changed?

RAD episode: Assassins Creed:Unity

RAD-AC

Greetings brothers and sisters, the templars have infiltrated our ranks…which one among you is a traitor?

In this episode of RAD, our very own Mike “The Birdman” Dodd puts on his assassin’s hoodie and stalks the streets of Paris in Assassins Creed:Unity on the Xbox one. This is the first AC game developed exclusively for the next gen consoles and follows a new protagonist, Arno in his quest for answers and revenge set against the french revolution.
Follow Arno and the brotherhood as they uncover the real power behind the streets of Paris and how things could change for the Templars and the Assassins forever.
Does Assassins Creed:Unity prove to be a worthy successor to Black Flag?
Does it deliver an immersive experience as you’d hoped for?
Well…..
